At Gray Plant Mooty, we believe that the privilege of practicing law comes with a responsibility to ensure that everyone has access to the legal system, regardless of resources. We take pride in using our legal skills to help people in need.
Each year, our attorneys, paralegals and staff devote thousands of hours to help low-income individuals, non-profits and small businesses obtain access to justice. More than 80 percent of our attorneys choose to provide pro bono services, helping tenants who are being unjustly evicted, refugees who are fleeing persecution in their home countries, and police officers and firefighters who need new wills, among many others. GPM attorneys recognize that without our help, many of these clients would be unable to afford an attorney or to navigate the difficulties of the legal system. Through our pro bono work, GPM lawyers protect our clients’ rights and ensure that their voices are heard.
