Amy Fiecke is a member of the Gray Plant Mooty Commercial Financial Services Practice Group, and recent graduate from the University of Saint Thomas School of Law.
Amy was a participant in the 2017 Gray Plant Mooty Summer Associate Program. As part of the program, she performed research and prepared memoranda, policies, client correspondence, and other legal documents. Amy then served as a school-year law clerk to Gray Plant Mooty’s Commercial Financial Services practice group. As a law clerk, Amy conducted legal research and prepared pleadings for both bankruptcy-related and financial-related cases.
Amy also clerked at the First Judicial District, Carver County Attorney’s Office where she appeared in court and administrative hearings, drafted general correspondence, prepped cases, and determined courses of action on issues and cases based on matters of law, fact, and legal research.
While in law school, Amy received the Dean’s award in appellate writing, bankruptcy law, business associations, and negotiations. The Dean’s award is given to one student in the class for superior academic performance and writing. While at St. Thomas, Amy also received a concentration in Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Prior to law school, Amy served as a Senior Compliance Specialist to a national finance company located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
