Jon Hodge represents individuals and businesses on a wide variety of corporate and business law issues. Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Jon handled complex consumer class actions at one of the nation’s leading data-privacy firms. He also practiced complex commercial litigation at the Chicago office of an Am Law 100 firm.
Before practicing law, Jon served as a consultant for a leading tech incubator, where he helped clients form new businesses based on technologies developed at the University of Michigan. He also spent three years working in the accounting department of a multibillion-dollar division of Nucor Steel, where he automated several of the monitoring and accounting processes for over $500,000,000 of annual raw materials usage.
Jon received his J.D. on a merit scholarship from the University of Michigan Law School. While there, Jon was awarded Legal Practice Honors for performing in the top 20% of his first-year legal research and writing classes. Jon also graduated summa cum laude from Chowan University, earning his B.S. in Business Administration with a dual-concentration in Accounting and Information Systems.
