The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which includes some of the most stringent data privacy protections in the USA, becomes effective January 1, 2020. The California Attorney General has proposed new regulations and guidance on implementation of the CCPA that covers the collection of customers’ and employees’ personal data — regardless of where your corporate office is located.

Join Gray Plant Mooty attorneys Michael Cohen and Amanda McAllister for a webinar that will offer a practical approach to the CCPA compliance. The webinar will cover:

  • What is the CCPA?
  • How the CCPA may apply to your organization.
  • How the CCPA may expose your company to potential data breach lawsuits.
  • What you can do to get ready.
  • The impact the CCPA may have on other states’ laws.
